PMI Budapest would like to draw your attention and invite you to its next PMPub event which will be held on

September 23rd at 17:00 at Anker Klub (1062 Budapest, Anker köz 1-3.)

The topic of the event will be
“Leading virtual teams: a Leadership challenging endeavour for the Project Manager”

and our special guest will be
Nichols Enrique, Head of Strategic Project Management at IT Services Hungary

About the topic:
We will talk about topics like the challenges of managing a project in a virtual environment, the project management skills needed, how to manage a virtual project successfully and how stakeholder management is done in such an environment.

About Enrique:
Enrique is a Venezuelan citizen, resident in Hungary since 1994. He started his IT career in 1981 as a System Developer, later on holding positions as DBA, Auditor, Presales Manager, Project / Program Manager, Development Manager and IT Manager.
enriqueIn 1985 he got his degree as TSU in Business Administration and Management; currently he is writing the dissertation for his Master’s degree on Project Management at the University of Salford.
He left his home country – for his first international assignment – back in 1987 when he was recruited to lead projects for multinational companies in the USA, Mexico, Argentina and Spain till summer 1991. In spring 1994, he moved to Hungary for the same reasons. In 2010 he started working for IT Services Hungary Ltd (member of T-Systems International) initially as a Senior Project Manager until 2012 when he was appointed as Head of Strategic Project Management.
He is proud of his 5 children - 3 of them are close to complete their studies at the University. He loves cooking and travelling as much as garden parties. He also likes to play bowls, billiard, ping pong and poker but his biggest passion is karate. Besides the Latin music his hobby is the photography; He also shares with his wife the madness for cars, tuning shows and races (mainly F1 and DTM).

About the PMPub:

What is the purpose of this event?
The main purpose is to network with each other and with the members of the board of PMI Budapest. At PMI, we are also interested in your ideas regarding English speaking activities or events that PMI Budapest should organise for you in the future!

Who should attend?
We encourage expat Project Managers working in Hungary and local, English-speaking PMs to join this event.

The event is a good opportunity for English-speaking project managers to share their experience, local practices and to develop their PM skills.

We also appreciate if you forward it to English-speaking project managers within your network.
